Registration Procedures

 

  1. The prospective student undergoes the Admission Process:  application, review, decision (acceptance/alternate/no acceptance)
  2. Once a student is accepted, a letter of "Acceptance" will be generated from the Vice Chancellor's office.  Upon agreement, the student will sign and return the letter to the Admission's Office.  The student will be sent via U.S. Mail  a Personal Identification Number (PIN) and is thus eligible to enter the WebStar System to register and/or access student information including Financial Aid.
  3. Prior to registering, the student should access the Master of Public Health web page (medicine.nova.edu/ph) and review program information, registration procedures, course schedule.  Please note:  course registration numbers (CRN), registration period/deadline will be available on the web site.  A copy of the course offerings will also be emailed via the MPH list serve. 
  4. Prior to selecting classes the student must contact his/her Advisor for academic advising.   If the student cannot identify his/her advisor, please contact the program director.

To Register for Classes

  1. The student must have received a NSU pin number for access to WebStar.
  2. The student must consult his/her Faculty Advisor regularly for program planning and course selection.
  3. The student must become familiar with the Webstar process; if student has a technical problem with the registration process, student can contact 954-262-HELP (4357).
  4. Students will receive an email through the MPH list serve of all course offerings for the next term and instructions on the registration process.  The course offerings will also be available on the web.
