Beth A. Allen, M.S., Community Relations Liaison

Beth A. Allen, joined the Lifelong Learning Institute team in October 2014 as the Community Relations liaison. She is the former Executive Director of the Joseph Meyerhoff Senior Center from 2008- 2014 and was the Assistant Executive Director of the David Posnack Jewish Community Center where she worked for 20 years. She holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Barry University. She has an extensive knowledge of the resources for older adults in the community. She is a board member and treasurer of the Exceptional Theater Company which provides drama classes for children, teens and adults with special needs in the tri-county area.

Heike Dose, B.A., Program Coordinator

Heike comes from Germany where she worked more than twenty years for a grain and feed broker. She was responsible for accounting, coordinated contractual arrangements, and customer service. Heike also worked for British Airways as a customer service agent for travel agencies. In 2002 she moved to Florida and started her new career at Nova Southeastern University.

Linda Maurice, M.A., Director

Linda Maurice, who joined the LLI as Community Relations Manager in 2007, is a former television news producer and has worked for news organizations in New York, Washington, and Jerusalem such as NBC, CNN, CBC, The Jerusalem Post, and The Jerusalem Report. Linda also worked with Israel's Foreign Ministry training outgoing diplomats in effective public speaking and interview techniques. Since moving to South Florida, Linda has held positions in public relations and media education.
