Elaine Wallace, D.O. Elaine Wallace, D.O.
Professor and Chair, Osteopathic Principles and Practice

Dr. Wallace, received her Bachelor of Science in biology/psychology from the University of Mississippi. She holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education and Leadership from the University of Kansas. In 1980, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed her internship at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Wallace is currently completing a Master's degree in Criminal Justice at NSU.

Dr. Wallace is certified in Family Medicine, Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Sports Medicine. She is the residency director of the NSU Sports Medicine Residency.

Dr. Wallace also trained in Chinese acupuncture and is a graduate of the Helms Institute at UCLA. She is also the recipient of the John Templeton Grant for teaching spirituality in medicine and is a Harvard Macy Scholar in physician education. Dr. Wallace is a lifetime member of D.O. Care and has served as mission director to medical missions in Mexico, Guatemala and Ecuador.

She has been an NSU-COM faculty member since 2000.
