Computer/Laptop Requirements

Computer Ownership Details
Welcome! Effective for the Class of 2011, Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine requires that all students have a computer. We intend to help you develop your medical research skills, hone and refine your information management skills, and expose you to medical informatics. The COM looks forward to working with you during your medical school career. Currently students have access to a variety of computer educational resources and course material.

A campus wide wireless network exists to provide electronic access anywhere.

This will provide you with information about satisfying the computer/laptop requirement. Review it with care. Make the choice that best satisfies your needs and requirements. We want you to be satisfied so pick the option that will best suit your needs. We do not waive hardware requirements specified in the Option 2 list.
To satisfy the computer/laptop requirement, you can choose either Option 1 or
Option 2.
The charges associated with Option 1, $1,760.00, and will be included on your Fall University bill, along with tuition charges.
