Largo Medical Center, a member of the HCA West Florida Division, is a 456-bed acute care hospital located in Largo, Florida. Not only is it one of the largest hospitals in Pinellas County, but also LMC is the largest osteopathic post-doctoral training program in the southeastern United States. The hospital serves as the West Coast Academic Center of NSU-COM.

It offers, jointly with NSU-COM, an accredited tradition rotating internship program, 5 residency programs, and 3 fellowship programs. The residency programs are in Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and General Surgery. Largo Medical Center also offers three fellowship subspecialty-training programs in Cardiology, Rheumatology, and Gastroenterology – all three programs being offshoots of the Internal Medicine Residency program. In addition, Largo Medical Center is approved to train 18 third-year and fourth year NSU-COM students.
