Florida Hospital East Orlando is a 225-bed acute care community hospital which is part of the seven campuses, 2801-bed Florida Hospital health care system. In 60 years as an osteopathic hospital, it maintains a long history and reputation of excellence in its medical education programs. Through its Family Medicine and Integrated FM/NMM residencies, residents are exposed to a wide range of clinical experiences in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. In addition, Florida Hospital East Orlando trains third and fourth year core and elective osteopathic medical students from across the United States.  There are 12 full-time faculty members (Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Behavioral Medicine, Internal Medicine, OMM and Pharmacotherapeutics).  There are also Residency clinics in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Geriatrics and OMM, and inpatient residency services in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Geriatrics and OMM.

Postgraduate Programs
Family Medicine Residency - approved and funded for eighteen (18) Family

Integrated Family Medicine / NMM Residency – approved and funded for eight (8) FM/NMM Residents

  • Annual Stipend:
    OGME-1: $41,000
    OGME-2: $43,000
    OGME-3: $45,000
    OGME-4: $47,000
