About College of Osteopathic Medicine
(COM)
As a student in the Health Professions Division of Nova
Southeastern University, you can anticipate a remarkable
experience. You will train, study, interact, and share
facilities, faculty, and resources with other health
professions students. This interdisciplinary approach
distinguishes the Health Professions Division as unique,
and will better prepare you to master your discipline
with a sensitivity and understanding of the entire health
care system. We think this is an opportunity unmatched
in health professions education.
The Health Professions Division, with a student body of more
than 2000, is home to Nova Southeastern University College
of Osteopathic Medicine, the first one in the southeastern
U.S., and it grants the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
degree.
